Gadre Seafood
Packaging Revamp
Research, Ideation & Concept Development

Gadre Marine Export stands as a premier exporter of high-quality seafood products worldwide. With a diverse product range spanning categories such as ready to fry (RTF), ready to eat (RTE), ready to cook (RTC), and raw, Gadre emphasizes seafood as a healthier, leaner meat option. The packaging design for Gadre products is meticulously crafted to enhance visibility, ensure easy category differentiation, and communicate the core values of freshness, quality, and health. The design is predominantly image-driven, featuring bold and vibrant colors that align with the brand’s ideologies. As part of the design team, I led concept development, which encompassed iconography and crafting a category differentiator for the packaging, while significantly contributing to shaping the strategic direction.

The project is now live. Here’s the link to the store website: Gadre.co.in

A STRATEGIC PACKAGING TRANSFORMATION

Gadre Marine Export's previous packaging lacked freshness and failed to grab attention on retail shelves or communicate the brand's commitment to quality.

However, the updated design now blends visual appeal with clarity by maintaining a black background and incorporating vibrant colours along with bold category labels. This strategy enhances product visibility and emphasizes Gadre's dedication to freshness, quality, and health. The image-centric design features self-explanatory illustrations that inform consumers about the products effectively.

Overall, Gadre's revamped packaging embodies the brand's values, achieves marketing objectives, and stands out prominently in retail settings.
